
Sting Complete Trade with Generals

SARNIA, ON - Sarnia Sting GM, Nick Sinclair announced that the Hockey Club has completed a trade with the Oshawa Generals wherein the Sting receive Windsor's 5th round pick in 2018 and Oshawa's 5th round pick in 2019 in exchange for LW, Alexandre Renaud. Renaud, a 96-born forward was originally drafted in the 2nd round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection by the Sting. In 179 Regular Season games with the club, Alex registered 18 goals and 24 assists for a career total of 42 points. We would like to thank Alex for all of his contributions to our hockey club during his three plus years in Sarnia and wish him nothing but the best of luck in Oshawa; and in his future development both on and off the ice" adds GM, Nick Sinclair. The Sting return to the SSEC this weekend as the Club plays host to the visiting Hamilton Bulldogs on Friday night and the Sudbury Wolves on Sunday at 2PM.
