Arizona Sting News Release

GLENDALE, AZ --- The Arizona Sting announced today that they have reached an agreement with local sports radio station, The Fan AM 1060.

The Sting will have a pair of games broadcast live on The Fan next month - a March 2 game against Chicago and a March 31st tilt versus San Jose. Both games have 7:30 p.m. start times. Broadcaster Matt Rosen will handle the call of all the exciting play-by-play action. This is the first time in the three-plus year history of the Sting that games will appear live on local radio.

The Fan AM 1060 is the radio home of the Phoenix Coyotes and a variety of sports-related talk shows. The Fan adopted an all sports format in 1995 after broadcasting Top 40, country, alternative, and R & B at various times over the course of its first thirty years in the Valley.

The Arizona Sting is a professional indoor lacrosse team playing in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Their home games are played at Jobing.com Arena and their season runs annually from January-April. For more information, please visit www.ArizonaSting.com.
