Steward and Boston Breakers Team up for Three-Year Sponsorship Deal

HANOVER, Mass. (Feb. 17, 2015) - The Boston Breakers announced today the signing of Steward Health Care System (Steward) as the exclusive title sponsor of the Breakers for the 2015, 2016, and 2017 seasons. Steward is the largest community-based health care network in Massachusetts.

In addition to serving as the exclusive title sponsor, Steward St. Elizabeth's Medical Center of Boston has been named the official hospital of the Boston Breakers and will also serve as the official athletic training and physical therapy partner and official MRI and imaging provider of the Boston Breakers.

"We are delighted to extend our partnership with Steward Health Care," Boston Breakers general manager Lee Billiard said. They are fantastic supporters and partners of the Breakers, women's sports and our community development activations. It is a mutually beneficial partnership, and one we will continue to grow over the next three years"

The Steward logo will appear on the front of Breakers home and away jerseys as well as on the front of the jerseys of the of the Boston Breakers Reserves and College Academy teams. The logo also will appear on the sleeves of the Boston Breakers Academy teams.

As part of the sponsorship Breakers players and coaches will attend a variety of Steward events in the community. Steward also will sponsor a Most Valuable Player for each Breakers home game, and the winning player will have $500 donated to a charity of their choice.
