Stevens named BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week

Calgary - The BOSTON PIZZA WHL Player of the Week is forward Chris Stevens of the Medicine Hat Tigers.
Stevens earned player of the week honours by recording two goals and six points in three games during the week of January 8th to January 14th, helping the Tigers to three straight wins in that span.
On Tuesday, January 9th, Stevens assisted on the game-winning goal as the Tigers edged Central Division rivals the Calgary Hitmen 2-1 in Medicine Hat.
On Friday, January 12th, Stevens notched a goal and assisted on the overtime game-winning goal as the Tigers beat the visiting Vancouver Giants 3-2 in overtime. He was also named the game's 1st Star.
On Sunday, January 14th, Stevens scored one goal and added two assists, including assisting on the game-winner, to lead the Tigers to a 6-1 victory over the Red Deer Rebels. He was also named the game's 2nd Star.
Stevens, a 20-year-old product of Dawson Creek, B.C., is in his second season in the WHL, and is a Free Agent.
