
Steve Harvey Bobble Head Night Set for August 16

Bluefield, WV - Sunday, August 16, 2015 will be a special and unique night at Bowen Field. The Bluefield Blue Jays will host the Bristol Pirates and the first 500 fans will receive a Steve Harvey Bobble head courtesy of Grants Supermarkets.
Harvey was born in nearby Welch, WV. He attended both West Virginia University and Kent State University.
Harvey is most noted for his roles as the host of his self-titled daytime talk show on television and as the host of the popular game show, "Family Feud."
The Steve Harvey Show can be seen daily in Bluefield on WVVA-TV.
He is a 3-time Daytime Emmy Award winner and has spent his life working as a television and radio host, actor, comedian and author. Earlier in his life, he spent time working as a boxer, carpet cleaner, mailman and insurance salesman.
Steve Harvey has been invited to make an apperance at Bowen Field and throw out the first pitch.
First pitch between the Blue Jays and the Pirates is scheduled for 6:05 PM. Gates will open at 5.
