SteepleCats Welcome Will Thomas- Baseball Operations Intern

North Adams, Mass. - The North Adams SteepleCats would like to welcome Will Thomas to the team as the newest Baseball Operations Intern. Aside from baseball operations, Thomas will also be playing a key role with the broadcast team this summer.

In North Adams, fans will see a lot of Will as he interacts with fans down on the field and in the crowd, while he also conducts interviews with players and coaches.

Will is currently a junior at Western Illinois majoring in Sports Broadcasting with a minor in Communications. Prior to Western Illinois, Will spent two years at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.

At Western Illinois, Will is currently the host of the pregame show for both the men and women's basketball games on WIUS-FM in Macomb. He also had the opportunity to do color commentary for three men's basketball games on the radio station as well.

When talking about North Adams, Thomas can't wait to join the team and get started. "I am excited to work for an organization that has had a lot of success in getting some of the top collegiate baseball players in the country," Thomas said.
