This weekend will only mark the third, fourth and fifth home games for the SteelHounds this season. It is the first time that the Brahmas have played in Youngstown since March 25, 2006.

The Captain is in Control

Youngstown captain Chris Richards has turned on the jets in recent games as he has scored at least two goals and an assist in two of his last three contests. The captain leads the team in assists with 18 and points with 27. His 18 assists have him tied for ninth in the Central Hockey League. In 147 games as a SteelHound he has 70 goals and 155 assists for 225 points. He is the SteelHounds all time leader in games played, assists and points.

Mr. Power Play

SteelHounds defenseman Jeff Alcombrack is off to another terrific start as he has six goals and 10 assists in 21 games. Of his six goals, five have been scored on the power play which is best on the team and also ranks him third amongst defensemen in the Central Hockey League. He registered five power play goals in 64 games last season for the Hounds.

Home For the Holidays

The SteelHounds have completed arguably the toughest part of their schedule as 19 of their first 21 games were all away from home.
