
Steamwheelers Offer Bus Trip to Rush Game

DAVENPORT, Iowa â If fans already have the itch for the return of Arena Football, then the Quad City Steamwheelers have just the cure for you. On Sunday, March 6, the Steamwheelers are taking a bus up to the Chicago Rush's game against the Nashville Kats. Former Steamwheelers quarterback and 2003 af2 Offensive Player of the Year Tony Zimmerman is currently on the Kats roster as the backup quarterback.
Steamwheelers' players, coaches and members of the front office staff will be on the bus trip up to Allstate Arena with food and beverages available on the trip. Space is limited, so fans interested should act soon.
Prices for the bus trip are $45 and $53. Included in the $45 package are the bus trip, upper arena ticket to the game, food and beverages. The $53 package includes the bus trip, a lower endzone ticket to the game, food and beverages.
The luxury charter coach will depart from the Steamwheelers home arena, The MARK of the Quad Cities at 10 a.m. and return following the conclusion of the game, around 7:30 p.m. Kickoff for the nationally televised game on NBC is set for 2 p.m.

Don't miss your chance to see Mike Ditka and his Chicago Rush take on Tim McGraw and his Nashville Kats. Ditka and McGraw, who recently purchased active interest in their respective teams prior to the start of this season, are expected to be at the game.
The Steamwheelers are closing in on their sixth season of play as a charter member of the af2, under new coach Rick Frazier, a veteran head coach in the Arena Football League. The 2005 af2 season is set to kickoff the first weekend of April, with the Steamwheelers opening their season on the road the following weekend at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Their first home game of the 2005 season will come on Saturday, April 16, at 7:30 p.m., when they host the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings.
