
Stealth Stop Blaze Streak

The Chicago Blaze's winning streak came to a stop at 7 Sunday afternoon, losing to the Houston Stealth 86-85. After being outscored 51-36 in the first half, the Blaze rallied back to take the lead in the second half with under a minute left in the game. However, Houston's hot shooting from the field (49%) and the free-throw line (83%), put the Blaze away.
Mfon Udoka finished with 28 points for the Blaze. Jannon Roland finished with 14 points, and Dominque Canty (7 assists) and Anna Deforge (3 3-pointers) each had 13 points. For the Stealth, WNBA Stars Sheryl Swoopes (4-Time Champion Houston Comets) and Tamicha Jackson (Portland Fire) each finished with 24 points.
The Blaze will look to bounce back when they face the Houston Stealth again, Thursday, March 20th in Houston, Texas. The Blaze will return home Saturday, March 22nd when they host the Springfield Spirit at 7:30pm.
