Published on April 3, 2019 under International League (IL1)
Gwinnett Stripers News Release
The Gwinnett Stripers join with the Atlanta Braves in sending our thoughts and prayers to Bobby Cox and his family. With respect to his recovery, we will reschedule his International League Hall of Fame Induction ceremony, originally scheduled for this Saturday, April 6, to a date that has yet to be determined.
We will still honor Bobby and his legendary contributions to the International League on Saturday, by giving out Bobby Cox Replica Hall of Fame Jerseys to the first 2,500 fans at Coolray Field. That night, fans will also have the opportunity to sign a get-well card that will be sent to the Cox family.
The Stripers join with all of Braves Country in wishing Bobby a speedy recovery.
