Notes:
Inter Miami CF (2W-4L-0D, 6 points) will be seeking its third home win of the season when it takes on FC Dallas (2W-2L-2D, 8 points) tonight. Overall, the team has registered two wins in its three previous 2023 MLS regular season games at DRV PNK Stadium and has scored two goals per match for a total of six goals in three home outings.
Tonight's meeting will be the only one between the sides this season. Last time the team took on FC Dallas, Inter Miami scored a late equalizer through a Leonardo Campana goal following a beautifully crafted assist by Robert Taylor to earn a point on the road with a 1-1 draw in July of last year. Additionally, midfielder Rodolfo Pizarro scored the team's only other goal against Dallas in a visit to Toyota Stadium in 2020.
Striker Leonardo Campana will start tonight to register his first appearance of the 2023 MLS regular season after recovering from injury.
Forward Josef Martínez will be registering his 150th overall MLS appearance tonight.
Inter Miami midfielder Victor Ulloa could face his former side tonight. Ulloa was signed as FC Dallas' first Homegrown Player in franchise history before going on to make 173 appearances across all competitions between 2011 and 2018, tallying six goals and seven assists and helping the team clinch the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup title and the 2016 Supporters' Shield. Additionally, several USMNT teammates may clash as well, with Inter Miami's DeAndre Yedlin and FC Dallas' Paul Arriola, Sebastian Lletget and Jesús Ferreira ready for action.
Dallas, meanwhile, enters the match after drawing 1-1 tie on the road against the Portland Timbers last weekend. Overall in 2023, the Texas-based side has collected eight points and has a record of two wins, two losses and two draws, and has registered no wins on the road.
Inter Miami is welcoming back Autism Soccer to DRV PNK Stadium for the second year in observance of National Autism Awareness Month. 15 young athletes from Autism Soccer will be taking the pitch pre-match at 6:30 p.m. ET to do a skills showcase and practice ahead of the game. Autism Soccer is a program created to promote social inclusion, integration and development of children and adolescents with special needs, utilizing soccer as a tool to fight against physical inactivity, premature obesity and monotony in the lives of these kids. Inter Miami CF and the Inter Miami CF Foundation are happy to team up once again to raise awareness and give these kids an unforgettable experience as they take the pitch at DRV PNK Stadium to do what they love, play fútbol!
The Club will also celebrate the University of Miami men's and women's basketball teams tonight following their historic NCAA Tournament runs to the Final Four and Elite Eight respectively. Members of both teams will be present as the programs are honored with a special halftime ceremony on the pitch at DRV PNK Stadium.
Tonight's match will be available for free on Apple TV. To stream every match of the season though, be sure to get the MLS Season Pass. MLS Season Pass will feature every live MLS regular-season match, the entire Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, and Leagues Cup all in one place, with consistent match times and no blackouts - a first in live sports broadcasting.
