Stars to hold dance team tryout

Los Angeles, CA. The ABA Los Angeles Stars professional basketball team today announced that tryhouts would be held for the Los Angeles Starlets Dance team on Saturday, October 16th. According to Anja Verena Koschak, Coach/Choreographer of the team, "When Coach Burrel asked if I would like to take the position and put together an exciting dance team, I couldn't turn him down..today is a happy day for me." (Ms. Koschak is currently touring in Austria and will return to LA in early October to put all of the details of the tryouts together). Burrel Lee, Coach/GM of the Stars added, "Having a coach with Anja's background is great. The girls who make this team will have a chance to learn from a coach who has danced all over the world already."

The tryouts will be held at the Exposition Park Intergenerational Communityh Center at 3980 South Menlo Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90037 starting at 10AM on Saturday, October 16th. The cost is $35 per dancer.

You must be at least 18 years of age, dance experience is recommended, bring photo and resume, only dance or athletic shows with non-marking bottom allowed, dress in leotard or flesh colored tights, and have own routine to hip hop or funky pop song (length between 6 and 8 counts of 8).
