Stars open training camp

Los Angeles, CA. Burrel Lee, GM of the ABA Los Angeles Stars professional basketball team today announced that the team will open its 2004-2005 Training Camp on Tuesday, November 2nd at 10am at the Exposition Intergenerational Community Complex (EPICC) at the Old Los Angeles Swimming Stadium behind the LA Sports Arena at 3980 South Menlo Avenue in Los Angeles (3rd floor gymnasium). According to Lee, "We have some great players coming in, most of whom we've announced. In addition, we're adding the five other very tough players to the camp." They are:

Eric Maye, a 6'8" forward from Cal State San Bernadino. James Rudy Williams, a 6'10" forward/center from Long Beach S. Herb Gibson, a 6'6" forward from Michigan Matt Houseer, a 6'8" forward from Chico State Andre Larry, a 6'9" forward from Oregon/Cal State Northridge.

Lee added, "It will be a competitive, spirited camp. The desire to play in the ABA is great, the league is setting some pretty high standards and has great players. We'll be good."
