Warriors sign fifth player

Ontario, CA. Oliver Binns, GM of the ABA Ontario Warriors professional basketball team today announced that the Warriors have signed their fifth player, Alvin Jefferson, for the upcoming season. Jefferson, 30, is a native of Macon, GA. He averaged a double-double during his playing career at Macon JC which led him to accepting a scholarship to play for SEC power, Auburn. While with the Tigers, he played a vital reserve role earning him the team's Sixth Man Award. The 6'10" 250 lib Jefferson is the tallest Warrior under contract and has played extensively abroad sharpening his skills. His career includes stops in China, Australia, Germany and the Phillipines. "It's a privilege to help the Warriors in their first season," said Jefferson. He resides outside of Macon with his wife Kawanna and his sone Amari (2). Binns added, "We are pleased to have Alvin on this team. His professional experience and understanding of the ABA game has added much to our squad."
