
Stars Assistant Coach Wendell Robinson & Cedric Ceballos helps lead team to victory over the Ontario

Ontario, CA - When Stars Head Coach/General Manager awoke to am email that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was home with the flu, he was wondering what to do to fill a full roster, he turned to his assistant coach Wendell Robinson. "When I called Dell and told him he was going to play today and if he got into the game just hold it down for a minute or two...." Lee said. The Stars won a tight and close game 112-109 and sealed the win when Warriors Andre Larry shot was blocked by Cedric Ceballos.
When Robinson was called upon, he didn't disappoint.....he had 11pts, 4 rebounds and steal and bloack. "I knew he would help" teammate Rudy Williams said.
Stars forward Cedric Ceballos chipped in 29pts, 10rebs and 5 ast, AJ Diggs added 17pts, 10ast and 6steals, whith Rudy Williams coming in with 11pts and 10rebs.
Ontario was lead by former Los Angeles Star Andre Larry who had 28pts and 14rebs, Cutris Slaughter 25pts and 9reb and Jason Miller 21pts.
Los Angeles is home for 3 games before the New Year. December 23, 2004 at 7pm vs the 1st place Utah Snowbears and the 2 vs Fresno Heatwave, December 24 & 26, 2004.
