Stars and Jaxx Washed Out
Published on August 29, 2007 under Southern League (SL1)
Huntsville Stars News Release
Heavy rains and an unplayable field, as a result, have forced the cancellation of Wednesday's scheduled game between the Stars and West Tenn Diamond Jaxx. The game will not be made up since it was the last remaining game between the teams in the regular season and the last scheduled home game during the 2007 season.
The Stars will open the season-ending five-game series in Birmingham on Thursday evening. Coverage of the game can be heard locally on SportsRadio 730 WUMP and through the internet at www.huntsvillestars.com.
