Huntsville Stars News Release
Huntsville, AL â The Stars and Barons were rained out on Tuesday night at Joe Davis Stadium. The game will be made up as part of a 6:05 p.m. doubleheader on July 31 in Huntsville. Tickets for Tuesday night's game can be redeemed at full value for a future regular season home game. For ticket availability, call the Stars at 256-882-2562 or stop by the office at Joe Davis Stadium.
Huntsville resumes play on Wednesday night at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Birmingham. Huntsville sends all-star lefty Derek Lee (10-3, 3.43) to the mound against the Barons in the first of a two-game series.
The Stars return home Friday night, July 4th, IDT-PEI presents an Independence Day fireworks spectacular, with the first 1000 fans receiving a free Stars gym bag. The Famous Chicken entertains fans of all ages on Saturday night, July 5th. On Sunday, July 6th, the first 1500 children age 14 and under receive a free baseball glove courtesy of Pepsi. Game time Friday and Saturday is 7:05 p.m., and the first pitch Sunday is 6:05 p.m.
