Stanley Cup coming to Hershey July 10

HERSHEY – The HERSHEY BEARS announced today in conjunction with the Tampa Bay Lightning and General Manager Jay Feaster that the Stanley Cup, the NHL's championship trophy, will visit at the Cocoa Ballroom across from the BEAR'S DEN at the HERSHEY LODGE AND CONVENTION CENTER on Saturday, July 10th.

Feaster, the former President/GM of the HERSHEY BEARS and current Executive Vice President/General Manager of the Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay Lightning will also be on hand with Lord Stanley in an event open to the public on Saturday.

BEARS season ticket holders will have an exclusive opportunity to view the Stanley cup from 5:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, with the media invited to attend from 4:45-5:15 to meet with Feaster as well as the Cup. The event will be open to the general public from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to view the Stanley Cup throughout the event, with Polaroid pictures taken with a donation to the HERSHEY BEARS Foundation.

The BEARS begin their 67th season in the American Hockey League in October, with the 2004-05 schedule due out in late July. Season tickets are on sale now by calling (717) 508-BEAR, with several different packages available.
