
Stanley Cup comes to Rio Grande Valley

Hidalgo, Texas - The Stanley Cup is coming to the Rio Grande Valley as part of the 2006 Central Hockey League All-Star Game presented by Obra Homes.
Come see the Stanley Cup up close at Buffalo Wild Wings (4021, N. 10th street, McAllen) on Tuesday, January 17 from 7-9 p.m. Then, on Wednesday, January 18, the Cup will visit Denny's (116 S. Shary Rd., Mission) for breakfast from 7:30-9 a.m. Later in the day, the Monitor (1400 E. Nolana, McAllen) will host the most recognizable trophy in all of pro sports from 3:45-4:30 p.m.
After the public appearances, the Cup will make its way back to Dodge Arena for the 2006 CHL Skills Competition (6:00 p.m.) and All-Star Game (7:30 p.m.). Fans are invited to bring their cameras, and Polaroids will also be available.
