
Stamps Sign Four Canadians

The Calgary Stampeders have signed four Canadian players - defensive back Dagogo Maxwell and offensive linemen David Brown, Jaylan Guthrie and Zack Williams.
All four players ended the 2019 season on the Stamps' practice roster and three - Maxwell (six games), Brown (five) and Williams (two) - saw action during the regular season.
A fifth-round draft selection in 2018 out of UBC, Maxwell recorded six special-teams tackles in 2019, his first CFL campaign. He is an alumnus of Calgary's St. Francis High School.
The offensive linemen are also Calgary draft picks - University of Western Ontario product Brown was selected in the fourth round in 2018 while Williams (third round out of Manitoba) and Guthrie (fourth round out of Guelph) were both 2019 choices.
In other transaction news, American linebacker Dexter McCoil and American defensive lineman Anthony Johnson have been released.
