The Calgary Stampeders head east to face the Ottawa Redblacks in a Week 2 matchup at TD Place Stadium. Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. MDT.

Both clubs are looking to bounce back from opening-week losses as the Stamps dropped a 25-15 decision at home against the BC Lions while the Redblacks were on the short end of a 19-12 score against the Alouettes in Montreal.

The Stampeders are 5-1-2 in Ottawa since the return of football to the Nation's Capital in 2014 including a 17-3 victory last season. The two ties between Ottawa and Calgary came less than a year apart in 2016 and 2017 and represent the only draws in the Canadian Football League in 936 regular-season games since Oct. 17, 2009.

Calgary is looking to avoid a 0-2 start, something the franchise has experienced only once since 2009.

The Stamps were 7-2 on the road in 2022 and have won 11 of their 13 most recent games away from McMahon Stadium dating back to October of 2021. The Redblacks were 0-9 at home a season ago and have lost 12 straight regular-season contests at TD Place Stadium since a 34-24 victory over Edmonton in Week 9 of the 2021 campaign.

This will be Calgary's first meeting with Ottawa since Bob Dyce became the third head coach in Redblacks history. The Stampeders previously faced a Dyce-led team on Oct. 31, 2015, when the Winnipeg native finished the season as interim bench boss of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
