Sioux Falls Stampede News Release

Sioux Falls, S.D. - The Sioux Falls Stampede in joint cooperation with the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center and city of Sioux Falls announced Wednesday a COVID-19 readiness plan ahead of the 2020-21 season. The extensive plan sets forth best practices and ASM Global's Venue Shield standard operating procedures for staff and fans this fall while attending a hockey game inside the arena.

The Stampede and PREMIER Center will offer socially distanced, pod seating in specific sections upon fan request, including Sections 121, 122 and 123, at no more than 30% capacity with limited contact access to seats. Socially distant seating may be added in other areas based on demand. Fans who wish to sit in these designated sections will be kept at a distance from the closest pod with no other patrons directly in front or behind them. Those fans who are interested in social distant seating will have the option to purchase tickets at the KELOLAND Box Office, but are strongly encouraged to contact the Stampede office in advance by calling 605-275-4625.

Fans will be encouraged to use the south and west entrances to cut down on foot traffic in the lobby and those wishing to avoid congestion should plan to arrive at the PREMIER Center before 6:45 p.m.

While in the concourse area, fans attending games are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings. Concessions will also adhere to socially responsible practices by utilizing every other point of sale with plexiglass barriers to encourage distancing. In addition, there will be an emphasis on cashless transactions and concession stands will offer single-condiment packets. Sanitation stations will be available in the concourse area and floor stickers will be present to promote social responsibility.

All arena promotions and activations will follow socially responsible guidelines and any fans participating in an on-ice promotion will be required to distance and wear a face covering.

Fans can view the plan in its entirety at www.sfstampede.com/covidplan.

The practices identified represent the hockey club's best efforts to proactively keep the general public safe and adhere to the current guidelines outlined by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), city of Sioux Falls and state of South Dakota. The team is in constant communication with the United States Hockey League (USHL) and team doctors regarding player safety and their well-being.
