
Stampede Punch Their Ticket to Clark Cup Playoffs

Sioux Falls, SD-The Sioux Falls Stampede clinched the fourth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference after the Des Moines Buccaneers fell 4-1 at Muskegon Saturday night. It marks the third straight season the Herd have qualified for postseason play and 12th time in 16 seasons. Sioux City, Tri-City and Omaha have also qualified for the playoffs in the Western Conference.
The 2015 Clark Cup Playoffs begin on April 14th and the Herd will face either the Sioux City Musketeers or Tri-City Storm in the first round. An official schedule will be released at a later date. The Stampede enter the final five games of the regular season with a 30-20-5 record and 65 points. The Herd have won eight straight games on home ice and will play four of their last five regular season games at the PREMIER Center.
The Herd return to action on Wednesday, April 1st when they host Des Moines at 7:05 PM at the PREMIER Center. It is also "Mascot Night" where fans will be entertained by several team and business mascots in the area. The Herd will also be home Friday and Saturday night with games times at 7:05 PM. Tickets for all three games are available through the KELOLAND Box Office or any Ticketmaster location.
