The Saugerties Stallions (14-34) and the Glens Falls Dragons (22-27) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Saugerties Stallions that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-7 win at Cantine Memorial Veterans Field.
Jesse Uttendorfer racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Saugerties Stallions. He singled in the seventh innings and doubled in the eighth inning.
Brandon Rivera pitched lights out for the Saugerties Stallions. The Glens Falls Dragons managed just one hit off of the the Saugerties Stallions' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one during his four innings of work.
Jake Vieth racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Glens Falls Dragons. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.
Matt Stojkov (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
