
Riders Beat Pioneers 10-3 on Wednesday Night

In a game that saw 11 different pitchers for both teams combined, the RailRiders were able to come out on top by a score of 10-3.
Eoin McAvinchy (St. Leo University) threw the first 6 innings for the RailRiders and earned himself a win after giving up just 2 runs and striking out 5. Colby Sorenson (Black Hawk College), Nolan Even (Kirkwood CC), and Chris Kemp (Indiana University South East) each pitched 1 inning, combining for 3 strikeouts while giving up 1 run.
Victor was actually outhit in this ball game but the RailRiders were better able to string together hits than the Pioneers.
The Riders blew open the game with a 3 hit, 7 run bottom of the 3rd. There were also 4 walks in a row that allowed Victor to load the bases before Tommy Wagner (Cornell University) unloaded them with a double in the gap.
Wagner would finish with 4 RBI's while Matt Fallon (Xavier University) and Mark Cardinalli (UC Davis) finished with 2 hits and an RBI apiece.
Victor will finish out the regular season tomorrow in Newark at 7:05 on Thursday night.
