A group of St. Catharines firefighters joined the IceDogs before practice at the Meridian Centre on Thursday to say "Just Stop It" and take a stand against bullying.

After taking the photo, the firefighters will now take their signs and challenge other stations in the area to join them in taking a stand against bullying.

The photo continues the social media push of the Just Stop It, Anti-Bullying campaign leading up to the campaign's official kickoff this Saturday, November 14th when the IceDogs host the Oshawa Generals.

At Saturday's game, the IceDogs will be initiating a challenge to fans, asking them to help us Just Stop It. There will be Just Stop It signs on every seat that night and we encourage everyone in attendance to join us in taking a stand against bullying during the mid-period break in the first period by silently standing and holding up their sign.

During and after the game we will also ask everyone to take a photo with their Just Stop It sign, share it across their social media and then pass along the sign to a friend and ask them to do the same. Our hope is that with this effort we can take a social epidemic that has been fueled by social media and flip the script by using social media to help put an end to it.

Join the "Just Stop It" movement by coming out to the game this Saturday, November 14th and help us take a stand against bullying!
