Springfield Armor Announces Coaches Show

SPRINGFIELD, MA Dec. 2, 2009 -The Springfield Armor today announced that they will be hosting a weekly coach's show with partner, CBS 3 Springfield. The show, called "The Dee League", will feature both Head Coach Dee Brown, as well as NESN host, John Chandler. Chandler is also the Armor's play by play announcer for all Armor home games which are broadcast on ESPN Radio 1450 AM WHLL.
"The Dee League" will air every Sunday from December 6th through April 4th at 11 a.m. on CBS 3 Springfield.
"CBS 3 Springfield is excited and proud to be the official station of the Springfield Armor" said CBS 3 Springfield Station Manager, John Hesslein, "'The Dee League Show' will quickly become a favorite of thousands of Armor fans throughout the Pioneer Valley. Dee Brown and John Chandler are terrific together on camera. Viewers will enjoy their fun inside view of every game throughout the season."
Each weeks show will include highlights of the previous week's games, as well as conversation about the upcoming games.
Throughout the show, fans will meet members of the team, as well as get to know the head coaching staff on a more personal level.
"'The Dee League Show' is not only a great mechanism for the Springfield Armor to showcase their team and their product off the court, but it also offers a chance for the community to get to know the individuals that make up this franchise" said Armor General Manager Alex Schwerin, "It will be one more way in which we can integrate the community into our team and our team into the community."
