
Sports Rally For Win Over El Paso

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports rallied for three runs in the eighth inning to defeat El Paso 5-3 at Fair Grounds Field Tuesday.
With the game tied at 3-3 and two outs in the eight, Austin Pride doubled to right centerfield to score Justin Humphries and Tommy Bryant with the deciding runs. Derek Cunningham pitched a complete game nine innings to record his fourth win of the year. Cunningham, after giving up three runs in the first three innings, allowed only one hit after the third inning.
The Sports will close out the home season Wednesday against El Paso at Fair Grounds Field. Game time 7:05 on AM 1130, KWKH.
