Spokane Shock News Release
Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock will host division-rival the Central Valley Coyotes in the second round of the 2008 ArenaCup Playoffs this Saturday night. Tickets for the game go on sale Monday at 12 noon through TicketsWest online, by phone, or at any TicketsWest outlet - including the Spokane Arena. Seats are available at all price levels including seats on the 100-level. At this time, a television deal is not in place to air the game locally, but it will be carried on radio on 101.1 FM.
Central Valley defeated the Arkansas Twisters (coached by former Spokane Shock Coach Chris Siegfried) 68-55 Sunday night to advance to the second round of the playoffs. Kick-off for the second round match-up with Spokane and Central Valley is set for 7 PM on Spokane Tribe Field at the Spokane Arena.
In their two match-ups so far this season, the Shock have maintained a perfect record against Central Valley winning by a combined four points.
"It's not going to be easy to beat a team like Central Valley for a third time, but that's the task ahead of us -that's what we are going to have to do," Head Coach Adam Shackleford said.
