
Spitfires Take Game One of Best-of-Seven Series vs. Spirit

The Saginaw Spirit suffered a 3-0 loss to the Windsor Spitfires in regulation Friday night at The Dow Event Center of Saginaw. The Spitfires lead the series 1-0, with game two in Windsor Sunday afternoon at 2:05 PM. The two teams return to The Dow for game three on Tuesday, April 12 - tickets are on sale now!
The Spitfires saw three goals in the latter half of the game, with center Stephan Johnston scoring at 14:06 in the second, defenseman Nick Ebert scoring at 18:43 in the second on the power play and winger Kenny Ryan scoring the third goal of the night at 10:24 in the third. Spitfires goalie Jack Campbell earned the shutout with 28 saves.
Spirit goalie Mavric Parks posted 40 saves on 43 shots.
