Erie, Penn. - The Saginaw Spirit (4-2-0-0) continue their road trip as they face off against the Erie Otters (1-3-0-2) Saturday night at the Erie Insurance Arena in Erie, Pennsylvania.

The Spirit won 6-1 against the Guelph Storm Friday, October 14. Michael Misa had four points in the win.
The Otters played against the Flint Firebirds and were defeated 8-1 Friday, October 14. Carrey Terrance scored the lone goal in the loss.

Saginaw and Erie have yet to play this year but did play in the 2021-2022 season. The teams met 12 times, each winning six of the meetings.

Anaheim Ducks prospect Pavel Mintyukov leads the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) in points (13). Mintyukov, Joey Willis, and Vegas Golden Knights prospect Matyas Sapovaliv are tied for the lead in goals for the Spirit with five. Dean Loukus and Mintyukov both lead the team in assists with eight. Tristan Lennox leads the team with 3.64 goals against average (GAA) and a .864 save percentage (SV%).
Brett Bressette and Christian Kyrou share the lead for points with five. Kyrou leads the team in assists with four. Bressette, Carey Terrance, and Sam Alfano all lead the team in goals with two. Nolan Lalonde leads the team with 1.46 GAA and a .945 SV%.
Saginaw returns home Saturday, October 22, as they host The London Knights at The Dow Event Center in Riverfront Saginaw, Michigan.
