With the activities surrounding the 2009 New York-Penn League All-Star Game in State College fast approaching, the State College Spikes Box Office will have extended hours over the weekend to allow fans the chance to get their tickets to Tuesday's All-Star Game at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and Monday's All-Star Mountain Bash at the Tussey Mountain Ski Resort. In addition to being open until 5 p.m. on Friday, the Medlar Field at Lubrano Park ticket windows will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. The Box Office will also be open on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and all day Tuesday for fans to make their last-minute ticket reservations.
Fans can get tickets to the All-Star Game and the Mountain Bash on Sunday before heading to the Downtown State College All-Star Fan Fest on the 200 block of Allen Street. The event is free, and the whole family will enjoy a variety of activities that bring the fun of the ballpark downtown.
