
SPHL Suspends Thomas Pending Review

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Thursday announced Mississippi RiverKings forward Leo Thomas has been suspended pending a review as a result of his actions in Game #26, Mississippi at Pensacola, on November 11.
At the 16:13 mark of the second period, Thomas was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for spearing.
Thomas will miss Mississippi's game at Macon tomorrow (November 13) and a final decision on the suspension length will be announced following the review.
The RiverKings return to the ice Friday night to take on the Macon Mayhem. Catch all the action live from Old Style Bar-B-Q in Olive Branch, the Office Away Game Watch Party Headquarters of the RiverKings.
