
SPHL Announces Suspensions

HUNTERSVILLE, NC - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) on Sat- urday announced the following suspensions:
Huntsville's Connor Schmidt
Huntsville's Connor Schmidt has been suspended three games as a result of his actions in SPHL-ËGame 26, Pensacola at Huntsville, played on Friday, November 9.
Schmidt was assessed a major penalty for fighting and a game misconduct under Rule 70.3, Leaving the Players' Bench, at 00:24 of the first period.
Schmidt will miss Huntsville's games against Pensacola (November 10), Macon (November 11) and Birm- ingham (November 16).
Evansville's Nick Wright
Evansville's Nick Wright has been suspended one game as a result of his actions in SPHL-ËGame 30, Evansville at Roanoke, played on Friday, November 9.
Wright was assessed a major penalty for fighting at the 17:44 mark of the third period.
Wright will miss Evansville's game against Roanoke on Saturday, November 10.
Macon's Kristaps Bazevics
Macon's Kristaps Bazevics has been suspended one game as a result of his actions in SPHL-ËGame 27, Macon at Knoxville, played on Friday, November 9.
Bazevics was assessed a match penalty under Rule 48.5, Illegal Check to the Head, at the 18:22 mark of the third period.
Bazevics will miss Macon's game against Knoxville on Saturday, November 10.
