
SPHL Announces Suspension, Fine

CHARLOTTE, NC - The SPHL today announced two players have been assessed disciplinary action for an incident this past weekend.
Knoxville's David Segal has been suspended one game for his actions in the Ice Bears' game against Augusta on Tuesday, December 28.
At the 20:00 mark of the third period, Segal was assessed two game misconducts for his actions during an altercation.
Segal will miss Knoxville's game vs. Louisiana on Thursday, December 30.
Augusta's Matt Auffrey has been fined by the League Office for his actions in the same game.
While on the bench during the altercation at the end of the game, Auffrey was assessed a game misconduct for throwing a glove at a Knoxville player who was on the ice.
