
Spend Your Lunch with the Saints at The World's Largest Game of Catch

ST. PAUL, MN (May 1, 2008) - The St. Paul Saints are offering an alternative to eating at one's desk, lunch and a game of catch during the Fourth Annual World's Largest Game of Catch presented by TDS Metrocom.
On, Wednesday, May 7 the Saints will hold their popular lunch-time event in downtown St. Paul from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on Robert Street between 6th Street and 7th Place. The event serves as a kick-off to the Saints season which will begin the following evening.
The event will include an address from City of St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman, Saints Executive Vice President and General Manager Derek Sharrer and field manager George Tsamis. The team will be introduced as will the name of the Saints 2008 four-legged mascot, the pig.
Fans will also enjoy entertainment from Saints ushertainer Seigo, Kevin Thomas, Jill Michaelson, Jason Wiseman and Dan Neale.
"This event is a favorite of our fans as well as myself," said Sharrer. "The event allows all the hard-working folks in downtown St. Paul to enjoy their lunch break with us and do something we like to do at the ballpark, which is have fun."
Patrons will receive Saints soft baseballs which they can play catch with during the festivities. Along with the fun, White Castle and Little Caesars will provide food for $1 with proceeds donated to charity. Soda will be provided courtesy of Coke.
