Special Guest to Join The Flame on Friday Night
January 6, 2005 - NBA G League (G League)
Florida Flame News Release
Fort Myers, Fla., January 6, 2005 - At Friday's game versus Huntsville, the Florida Flame will have a special visitor in attendance. Breanna Stillman (9) who has been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension, a terminally ill condition, will join the Flame family as our newest cheerleader for the night.
Pulmonary Hypertension is a rare disease that affects only 1 to 2 people per million per year.
The Florida Flame players met Breanna when delivering toys to Southwest Florida's Children's Hospital in December. Breanna's bright outlook on life influenced the players so much that they wanted Breanna to attend a game this season.
Racing Limos will be picking up Breanna and her family on Friday, January 7, and escort them to a first-class night with the Flame.
When Breanna found out about the team, the players, and the opportunity to come to a game, she asked Carl English if she could be the newest Florida Flame cheerleader. With such a bright smile and positive outlook on life, the entire Flame organization wanted to do something special for her.
