Augusta Colts News Release
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Want to know who'll be the starting quarterback for the Augusta Spartans Saturday night? Don't ask head coach Bubba Diggs.
It'll be a gametime decision for Diggs whether Brandon Satcher or Neal Sharma starts in the World Indoor Football League game against the Columbus Lions.
"They've both had good pratices this week,' Diggs said, "It's going to be one of those situations where you go with what you feel."
Satcher was impressive in the Spartans' season-opening 49-47 over Daytona Beach, throwing for 243 yards and five touchdowns, but did't play in the 52-37 loss at Osceola. Journeymen Neal Sharma had three touchdowns, but was also intercepted three times.
Columbus (2-0) has also had struggles at QB, with Andrew McKay registering four picks in his season opener. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
