
Sox win series with second comeback in three nights

Sox Defeat Missoula 6-5
Great Falls, MT Tonight the Great Falls White Sox defeated the Missoula Osprey 6-5 at Centene Stadium. Matt Nachreiner (2-2) picked up the win in relief for the Sox as he worked one inning, allowing two runs on two hits. The save went to Nick Lemon (2) as he worked the ninth giving up a hit. The loss went to Lorenzo Church (0-1) as he worked three innings, two runs (one earned) on three hits.
Missoula would score early in the ballgame scoring once in the first and once in the second innings. In the first, Osvaldo Diaz hit an RBI double and the second inning run scored on a Jake Elder RBI groundout.
Great Falls would get on the board in the third. Daron Roberts hit a two RBI single driving home Matt Sharp and Evan Tartaglia to tie the score. In the fourth inning, Javier Castillo had a sac fly and Sharp added a single to bring home Francisco Hernandez to give the Sox a 4-2 lead.
Missoula would chip away at the lead in their half of the sixth. Ricardo Cruz plated Steve Mena with a double to right-center. Then in the seventh inning Mena would have a two RBI double to give the Osprey a 5-4 lead.
Great Falls would comeback in the late innings for the second time in the series. In their half of the seventh, Daron Roberts would single to right to tie the game before Matt Tribble would bring home Evan Tartaglia with a sacrifice fly to give the Sox the lead. Great Falls would go on to win 6-5.
Tomorrow night the Sox will have off before opening a seven game road trip on Wednesday night starting with the Orem Owlz. The starters for the game are: Yunior Novoa (LHP) for Great Falls and TBA for Orem. Game time is at 7:05pm and can be heard on 560AM-KMON starting at 6:50.
