Luis Reyes and four relievers combined to allow the Richmond Flying Squirrels just one run in the Senators' 2-1 win over Richmond Thursday night at FNB Field. Trailing the Flying Squirrels 1-0, the Senators tallied single runs in the fourth and fifth innings for the only runs they would need. It was the Senators fourth 2-1 win in their past five games.

Luis Reyes started and went five innings for the win, his second with the Senators this season. He struck out six and allowed five hits and one unearned run. Francys Peguero followed going a scoreless inning striking out two. Reid Schaller allowed three hits but no runs in 1.1 innings. Zach Brzykcy retired the final two batters in the eighth stranding the bases loaded and then pitched a perfect ninth inning for his third save.

Harrisburg had only six hits in the game but parlayed them into a pair of runs. Jecksson Flores doubled and scored the go ahead run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Jake Alu in the fifth inning. Drew Millas singled in Andrew Young to tie the game in the fourth.

Harrisburg went two-for-three with runners in scoring position after going oh-for-thirteen Wednesday afternoon. Harrisburg limited the Squirrels to two-for-nine hitting with runners in scoring position.
