Nashville Sounds News Release
NASHVILLE â The 7:00 p.m. series finale between the Nashville Sounds and Las Vegas scheduled for this evening has been postponed due to inclement weather in the Nashville area. The game, which was the last of four scheduled regular season meetings between the teams this season, will not be rescheduled.
The postponement results in a 2-1 series victory for the Sounds, who are 13-4 in games played at Greer Stadium this season.
Nashville continues their homestand on Tuesday evening when they welcome the Sacramento River Cats (AAA-A's) to town for the 7:00 p.m. opener of a four-game series, the teams' lone meeting in 2003. Sacramento won the 2002 season series by a 5-3 count; the teams split their four meetings here at Greer Stadium.
Right-hander Matt Guerrier (0-0) will take the hill for the Sounds and is scheduled to face Sacramento right-hander Erik Hiljus (2-3).
