Seattle Sounders FC News Release


SEATTLE, WASH. - Following a scoreless draw with Vancouver in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals on Sunday at BC Place, Sounders FC returns home for the second leg this Thursday, November 2 on the Xbox Pitch at CenturyLink Field (7:30 p.m. PT / FOX Sports 1, FOX Deportes). With no goals scored in the first leg, the winner of Thursday's match advances to the Western Conference Championship. A scoreless draw after 90 minutes would force extra time, while a draw with any goals scored would result in Whitecaps FC advancing, due to the away goals tiebreaker.

Members of the media wishing to attend Sounders FC training sessions should contact Sounders FC Communications in order to receive the most current information, as training times, locations and player availability are subject to change.

WHEN: Monday, October 30 - Thursday, November 2

UPCOMING TRAINING SCHEDULE

Monday, October 30: Sounders FC training - Starfire Sports - 12:00 p.m. PT - entire session open to media, with player and Head Coach Brian Schmetzer availability at approximately 1:00 p.m. PT

Tuesday, October 31: Sounders FC training - Starfire Sports - 10:30 a.m. PT - entire session open to media, with player and technical staff availability at approximately 12:00 p.m. PT

Wednesday, November 1: Sounders FC training - Starfire Sports - 10:30 a.m. PT - entire session open to media, with player and Head Coach Brian Schmetzer availability at approximately 12:00 p.m. PT

Thursday, November 2: Sounders FC vs. Vancouver Whitecaps FC - CenturyLink Field - 7:30 p.m. PT kickoff - FOX Sports 1, FOX Deportes

Please note: Training sessions may be immediately followed by a team weight-lifting session that can alter media availability times.
