Sounders FC Offers $20.26 Ticket Deal for July 9 Home Match vs. Portland
June 22, 2022 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Seattle Sounders FC News Release
SEATTLE, WASH. - As the Emerald City celebrates last week's announcement from FIFA naming Seattle as a host for the FIFA World Cup 2026, Sounders FC is giving fans an additional way to commemorate this momentous event for soccer in the Pacific Northwest. The Rave Green are offering a special $20.26 ticket to attend the club's match vs. Portland on Saturday, July 9.
The game is set to be one of the biggest of the season, with Sounders FC not only playing its archrival in a pivotal matchup, but also unveiling the team's Concacaf Champions League title banner in the rafters at Lumen Field and offering an enhanced slate of matchday activities designed to celebrate two historic moments: becoming the first MLS team to win Concacaf Champions League and Seattle playing host to the FIFA World Cup in four years' times.
Proceeds from all $20.26 tickets go to directly fund RAVE Foundation's 26 Fields by 2026 campaign. Launched earlier this year, 26 by 2026 is built upon the foundational principles of both RAVE and Sounders FC, including bringing play equity to youth in Washington and defending the right to play. The ultimate goal of the campaign is to build 26 fields in historically marginalized communities in the state - with the target date of completion in time for FIFA World Cup 2026 - while also investing in and around those fields that use soccer as a vehicle to support the health and well-being of youth.
This limited-time ticket offer is available exclusively online via SoundersFC.com through Monday, June 27 and covers select upper bowl seating.
