Sounders at home this Saturday

Seattle Sounders News Release


The Seattle Sounders are home at Starfire Sports Complex this Sunday, September 18th as they play host to long time northwest rivals the Portland Timbers. This will be the second match of the two game playoff series between the Timbers and the Sounders. Friday night, September 16th the Sounders will be at Portland to kick off the 2005 playoffs.

Sunday?s game will be broadcast live on Fox Soccer Channel at 7pm (PT). Fans are encouraged to arrive early to avoid congestion.

Mad Pizza Happy Hour at Starfire Sports Complex

The Sounders and Mad Pizza are offering happy hour (open to everyone) from 4:45pm -6:00pm on September 18th. Present your ticket for the September 18th match at Mad Pizza and receive a free slice of pizza. In addition to the free slice, other great food and drink specials will be available. In the event a ticket needs to be purchased, the box office will open at 4:45pm.

Tickets for the September 18th match can be purchased in advance by calling the Sounders at 206.622.3415 or at Starfire the night of the match. General admission is $15 and reserved seating is $17.

Gates Open at 5:00pm

The gates for the September 18th match at Starfire will open at 5:00pm.

Parking will cost $8.

Wear Blue

The Sounders in conjunction with the Emerald City Supporters want you to show your team spirit for the Sounders on Sunday, September 18th by wearing blue to the match.
