Sonic Sunday Faces off Busy Schedule Ahead for the Amarillo Bulls

AMARILLO, TX - There will be plenty of hockey for fans to see over the course of the next 10 days. The Amarillo Bulls begin a stretch of four games in seven days with the fourth annual Sonic Sunday at 6 pm against the Lone Star Brahmas.

The Sonic Sunday promotion was moved to the scheduled Sunday game versus the Brahmas due to the December 8th game being postponed. A make-up date for the December 8th contest is still be worked out, between the teams.

The unique promotion, known as Sonic Sunday, allows people an opportunity to see a game for free courtesy of Sonic. Tickets will be made available starting at 4 pm on Sunday at either the Main Box Office on Buchanan or Gate 8 located on the Southwest Corner. Tickets will be on a first come and first serve basis.

New Years Eve hockey has become a tradition in the Texas Panhandle for several years. The Bulls host their 3rd annual New Years' Eve game presented by Budweiser on Tuesday when they conclude a two game set against the Lone Star Brahmas at 7 pm. It's a special edition of the Family Four Pack and Bring-A-Buddy. The family four pack consists of four tickets, four hotdogs and four sodas for just $39, while the Bring A Buddy Pack has two tickets, two hotdogs and two sodas for $20.

Fans won't want to miss the second jersey auction of the year planned for Saturday, Jan. 4. That weekend the Bulls will be supporting Amarillo Youth Hockey by wearing special one-of-a-kind heritage jerseys against the Corpus Christi Ice Rays.

Single game tickets are available through the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk, Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Outlet including United Supermarkets. MONDAY, DEC. 31 VS. LONE STAR BRAHMAS, 7 PM: Third annual New Years' Eve game presented by Budweiser. Come out and watch an annual tradition of hockey in the Texas Panhandle on New Years, Eve prior to your festivities. It's the Family Four Pack and Bring A Buddy Night. FRIDAY & SATURDAY, JAN. 3, 4 VS. CORPUS CHRISTI ICERAYS, 7 PM: The Bulls will be wearing special heritage jerseys for both games. A live auction will be held in The Corral immediately after Saturday's game with proceeds to benefit Amarillo Youth Hockey.
