Domenic Alberga got the visitors on the board with a power-play goal after he drove the net and jammed John Dunbar's centering pass from the near corner underneath Kasimir Kaskisuo at 11:01.
Orlando answered with a power-play goal of its own when Maggio settled Brenden Miller's slapshot at the front of the net and backhanded the rebound past a sprawled Anderson at 11:21.
The Admirals pulled Anderson for an extra skater with a little over two minutes left in regulation, and the gambit paid off as Frankie Simonelli fired a shot at the left circle through a screen to beat Kaskisuo and pull Norfolk back to within one goal at 17:56, but Chris Crane secured the victory for Orlando with an empty-net tally at 19:39.
Kaskisuo picked up the win for Orlando with 32 saves on 34 shots against; Anderson took the loss with 38 stops on 41 shots against.
