Solar Bears Agree to Terms with Tanski

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that they have agreed to terms with F Scott Tanski.

Tanksi (6-2, 192 lbs.) has appeared in 121 regular season games scoring 26 goals and adding 25 assists for 51 points in his two-year career with the Solar Bears. His 121 games played is the most among any Solar Bears player in Orlando's ECHL history. Tanski appeared in four playoff games with the Solar Bears last season, scoring the game-winning goal in game four against Cincinnati to help Orlando fend off elimination. The Athabasca, AB, native won the Michael T. Gibson "Crash of the Year" Award at the 2014 Solar Bears Awards Show for his physical play throughout the 2013-14 season and was the Solar Bears "Clutch Performer" for the 2012-13 season after leading the team in game winning goals.

Prior to joining the Solar Bears before their "Out of Hibernation" 2012-13 season, Tanski played 67 games for the Connecticut Whale in the AHL, posting 11 points on six goals and five assists. He played five seasons with the Brampton Battalion in the OHL prior to turning pro, where he totaled 133 points on 53 goals and 80 assists in 188 games.
