The San Diego Sockers will travel to Harrisburg for a 3 p.m. match up against the Heat. The game is the second all-time between the two teams. • The Sockers hold a 1-0 lead in the series that includes a 13-7 win over the Heat on Oct. 11.

• The Heat has made the playoffs in nine of its 11 seasons.

• Former Sockers player Erich Geyer is the head coach for the Heat.

The Sockers fell to the Eastern Conference leading Philadelphia KiXX, 12-4, at First Union Spectrum on Nov. 30, 2002.

• Alejandro Cardenas and Shawn Beyer scored the four points for the Sockers.

• DJ Horvath was in the goal for the Sockers and totaled six saves.

• The four points scored by the Sockers was tied a franchise low this season. The Sockers scored just four points against Milwaukee and Cleveland earlier in the season.

With a win, the Sockers will jump back to .500 and improve the all-time record against the Heat to 2-0.

Horvath Named MISL Defensive Player Of The Week San Diego goalkeeper D.J. Horvath has been named the MISL Defensive Player of the Week for the seven-day period ending November 24. Horvath receives the award after going 1-0 on the week while leading the Sockers to a 20-11 victory at Baltimore on November 23.

Horvath stopped 22 of 26 shots faced for a .846 save percentage while allowing just nine points in 59:59 of action. The native of Budapest, Hungary improved to 3-3 on the season with the victory while lowering his points against average to 13.49.
