November 1, 2002 - Major Indoor Soccer League 2 (MISL 2)
San Diego Sockers News Release
One of the Sockers' rivals from the original MISL will be in town for the first time since April 1991 when the Kansas City Comets invade the Sports Arena for Saturday night's 7 p.m. game with the Sockers. The Sockers (2-4) hope to duplicate their bigest offensive outburst of the season, a 14-point second half in their victory over the Comets (1-4) in KC on Oct. 19, to get back on the winning track. If you can't make it to the game, be sure to tune in on Channel 4 San Diego for the second of six televised home games this season. Scott Kaplan calls the play-by-play and Sockers legend Juli Veee provides color commentary. The telecast will be replayed Monday at 9 p.m. on Channel 4 SD.
"Inside Soccer" Features MISL Commissioner: MISL Commissioner Steve Ryan will be one of the guests on "Inside Soccer" from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday on KSDO-1130 AM. Tune in to hear hosts Brian Quinn and Brian Halliday talk soccer, from MISL to England's Premier action. Commissioner Ryan will take your questions from 4 to 4:30, and Sockers announcer Mark Rogondino will report on the week's action around the league.
