
Soccer Day at U. S. Steel Yard Will Feature Chicago Fire Players

The Gary SouthShore RailCats Professional Baseball Club will be hosting Soccer Day at U. S. Steel Yard, Tuesday, August 30.
The event will feature Chicago Fire players Justin Mapp, Chris Rolfe, and Jack Stewart along with Assistant Coach Denis Hamlett signing autographs for fans. The F.I.R.E. (Fan Interactive Recreational Experience), a mobile soccer festival, will also be at U. S. Steel Yard with human foosball, a ball speed test, a test your accuracy game and more.
Tickets for the game, scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. against the St. Paul Saints, can be purchased in advance at a rate of $6.00 per box seat ticket (regularly priced at $9.00) for groups of 20 or more. Plus, young soccer stars in their team jerseys will get box seat tickets for only $7.00 and the first 1,000 fans will receive a free RailCats Mini-Soccer Ball courtesy of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers.
